Since starting to make boards we have been looking for the perfect, natural, way to finish them, and this is it.  A blend of food grade mineral oil and beeswax that leaves the freshly sanded surface smooth and also enhances the grain of the wood.  The beeswax will also give a certain amount of protection from water.  We make this butter ourselves and use it on all of our products.  If your board is feeling a little dry simply smooth some butter on, you won't need too much, leave it to soak in for ten minutes or so, then buff with a clean dry cloth.  Your boards will thank you for it!
